School Based Traineeship - Health

We are excited to advise that Expressions of Interest are now open for the Queensland Health School-Based Traineeship Program.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in a career in health to gain valuable industry experience while working towards nationally recognised qualifications.

Through the program, students have the opportunity to:

• Complete a Certificate II in Health Support Services, followed by a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
• Undertake paid work one day per week as a school-based trainee
• Gain experience in areas such as Health Support Services, Allied Health Assistance, Patient Support and Administration
• Receive mentoring and support throughout the traineeship, with potential pathways into further study, TAFE, university or ongoing employment

We acknowledge that some students have previously submitted an Expression of Interest for this program. However, a new EOI must now be completed in order for students to be considered for the upcoming intake.

As there are only a very limited number of positions available, particularly in Gladstone and Rockhampton, interested students are strongly encouraged to submit their EOI as soon as possible.
