Nominations Now Open - 2026 Australia Day Awards

Recognise our local heroes by nominating them for a 2026 Gladstone Region Australia Day Award! 

Locally, Gladstone Regional Council hosts Australia Day Awards ceremonies to acknowledge and award members of the community who have celebrated success or gone above and beyond for our communities. 

Anyone can be nominated for an award - with refreshed categories and easy to follow eligibility criteria, our everyday heroes and quiet achievers’ contributions will be recognised and celebrated. 

Nominations close 4pm, Friday 21 November.
