2027 Work Experience Application Dates - Ergon Energy

This is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in electrical trades and the energy industry to gain hands-on experience at Energy Queensland depots across Queensland.

Placements are trade-based, completed in one-week blocks and are open to students in Years 10–12 who meet the eligibility requirements, including holding a White Card.

2027 Application & Placement Cycles:

• Cycle 1: Applications 28 September – 18 October 2026 | Placements 1 February – 14 May 2027
• Cycle 2: Applications 8 – 28 February 2027 | Placements 17 May – 29 August 2027
• Cycle 3: Applications 17 May – 6 June 2027 | Placements 30 August – 26 November 2027
